 Classic-Elegant Style

In previous posts, I did some research on some collaborations between art and fashion to get inspiration, as already said I decided to do them for inspiration but since I have no intention of creating a collection inspired by the art I can take inventiveness to create my project and maybe draw some details to insert it in my project in my way. I decided to take inspiration from De Chirico, as already mentioned since his art expresses mystery by taking up the meaning of the purple color. Honestly, I wanted to include several details within my project and I want to try to express them in the best possible way.

In this post, I will explain what kind of style I decided to use for my photoshoot. As you can already understand from the title I have decided to use a classic-elegant style. My choice of this style came when I saw two collections, one is that of Schiaparelli Haute couture spring summer 2021, which I have already told you about in one of the previous posts, the second is Elisabetta Franchi with the spring-summer 2021 collection. brands are based very much on the classic elegant style and also in the collection of Elisabetta Franchi there is the lilac color in the foreground or it is one of the shades that come from the purple color.

I chose this style, both for having seen the fashion shows of these two big brands, but above all, because this is a style that never goes out of fashion and lately not being able to go out due to the moment we are going through, I especially noticed from my friends that they no longer pay attention to elegance by wearing only very comfortable and casual clothes or garments. Instead, precisely, for this reason, I want this style to be used also to go to the aperitif and not only used and seen as a work outfit, for the office or on special occasions. Obviously, there are women who always dress with style but in my generation, I have noticed that street style is taking over so I want to change those girls who think that elegant should only be used on certain occasions.

I focused my attention not only on the classic elegant style but also on the trends of 2021 of course. One of the items I thought of and which represents the elegant classic style is the suit invented by Coco Chanel. From here I started my basic research to create my outfits adding to the whole also the trends of the moment such as the women's jacket but with a masculine cut.

In the next post, I will start by entering the details on creating my outfits.
