De Chirico Research

 De Chirico

To realize my final project in this post I want to tell you about the paintings from which I will take inspiration, my idea is to represent six paintings by De Chirico with the evident addition of fashion inside and also represent the purple color in the best possible way. Let's start from the step, so here as already said I will illustrate the paintings I have chosen, I have decided on the paintings that attracted me the most and also those that made me have an image of how a final photo could be. These are the paintings that I have chosen because they seem to be the most feasible to do from a photographic point of view, seeing the paintings in detail I also thought that if my skills in using photoshop allow me I wanted to add components of the painting directly inside the photograph or vice versa.

De Chirico has always chosen Ferrara because for him Ferrara is a place characterized by an excellent urban (and architectural) structure. De Chirico loves the geometry that composes Ferrara and it is precisely for this reason that he uses it several times for his works.
If you take a look at other canvases made by Giorgio, you will notice that there are 3 recurring elements:

The empty urban spaces that act as an environment
The use of a "wrong" perspective
De Chirico's mannequins who have the role of protagonists (and who replace people)

Do you know why Giorgio never gives up on these strange details?

Because with his works of art he wants to show us a reality different from the one we know.
The details present in his paintings are part of our world (the Estense Castle, for example), but in his reality, they are empty and lifeless elements.
So death in a sense is the protagonist
Giorgio believes that death is nothing more than an immobile and unexplained eternity.
It is a concept that goes beyond the normal appearance of objects, Giorgio's artistic style is characterized by great curiosity. He wants to try to find out what lies behind the physical laws underlying our reality and this is clearly seen in the disturbing De Chirico Muse. There are many aspects within the works of De Chirico but I will analyze only a few of those that I consider appropriate for my project, in fact, it is interesting how this artist manages to recall many elements in his works.
