Welcome to my blog, I am a student in the DMUIC. I will use this blog to expose my projects and especially for my research that will lead to the realization of them.

I'll start by showing you a photograph of a photographer I admire and that I would like to study in more depth.

KARL & KRISTEN 2012

The photographer who took this photo is Mario Testino, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential fashion and portrait photographers of our times. His photographs have been published internationally in magazines such as Vogue, V Magazine, and Vanity Fair. He reached the pinnacle of success when Lady Diana chose him for a feature about her published in Vanity Fair in 1997.

I am very interested above all in black and white shots, and above all one of the two subjects photographed is a fashion designer who has in a certain sense changed the fashion of two very important and influential brands. I've always been drawn from those vintage photos that made history. And even if this is recent or not taken with old-style cameras, it remains an unknown factor for me to admire these photos that give me the impression of having been taken much further back.

I hope that thanks to this year it will also become much more critical both on my works but it is important to be able to grasp the details in the works of great photographers and be able to reproduce them in my projects, even if perhaps in an obviously less professional way to start.
